The end of French session certificates were handed over by H.E Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan AlQasimi - Head of Sharjah Government Relations Department - to the students of Alliance Française Sharjah on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
During this ceremony, H.E Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan AlQasimi recalled his attachment to La Francophonie and to the Alliance Française Sharjah, which was created to provide the opportunity to learn French, to enrich the cultural landscape and to broaden the urban dialogue by creating cultural and civilizational bridges between nations in Sharjah.

Alliance Française Sharjah is pleased to announce that the Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Sharjah was signed on May 23, 2023.
On this occasion, a ceremony was held at the headquarters of the university in the presence of eminent personalities of the emirate of Sharjah, ambassadors and representatives of embassies from a number of countries.
This agreement was signed by the President of the Alliance Française Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi as well as the Chancellor of the University of Sharjah Prof. Dr. Hamid Majul Al-Nuaimi.
Alliance française Sharjah was present at the Abu Dhabi book fair alongside the French Institute, the Alliances françaises Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well as the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi

Alliance Française Sharjah went to Sharjah Children Reading Festival 2023!
Always with the same ambition to make the "SCRF" the largest children's book fair in the region, the festival has focused on interactive, educational and entertaining experiences offered to children.
In addition to the various workshops offered to young readers, a very attractive exhibition of children's literature illustrations was organized.
A rich and interesting visit for young readers as well as adults who will be able to meet the major players in the publishing and book worlds of the region.
The Alliance Française Sharjah attended, on April 11, 2023, with great pride the presentation of the Legion of Honor to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, Emir of Sharjah, on behalf of the French President by HE the Ambassador of France, M. Niemtchinow.
On this occasion, the rank of Commander of the Legion of Honor was awarded to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan in recognition of his exceptional achievements as ruler of Sharjah, particularly in the fields of Arts and Education, as well as as a true friend of France!
During the celebration of La Francophonie at the University of Sharjah on March 23, 2023 H.E. Sheikha Rad Al Qasimi, H.E. Salem Alneyadi (UAE Ambassador to the OIF) and Dr. Mohammed Alaboodi shared their experience of French language and studies. Congratulations to the Center de la francophonie and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences of the university.

During the month of Francophonie, the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi organized a dictation on March 16, 2023 as part of Go Green 2023! An opportunity to highlight sustainable development and the French language.

The Alliance Française Sharjah animated the "holiday activities" on February 15 and 16, 2023 around the Art and Cinema workshops at the Flying Saucer in Sharjah. We were very happy to share this adventure with the children of LFIGP Sharjah while their parents were gathered at the "Café Blabla" workshop.

Thursday March 21, 2019 was the “International Day” on the Sharjah site. This event aimed to highlight cultures and languages, as part of the year of tolerance in the United Arab Emirates.

The Alliance Française Sharjah is very pleased with the opening of the 15th edition of the Sharjah Arts Biennial which is curated by Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Art Foundation.
This year, the biennial brings together 150 artists and collectives around the theme "thinking historically about the present". A theme that pays tribute to the late poet and visionary Okwui Enwezor.
The 300 exhibited works are spread across 5 towns and villages in the United Arab Emirates.
An event not to be missed!
The director of the Alliance française of Sharjah, Audrey Leseigneur, and the Principal of the LFIGP, Bruno Asselin, signed this Monday, December 5, a partnership agreement in the presence of Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, President of the Department of Government Affairs of Sharjah accompanied by his teams, and Nathalie Kennedy, Consul General of France. This agreement seals the start of the French courses of the Alliance française in the premises of the French school of Sharjah for all those who wish. A partnership that goes without saying between these two institutions united for the promotion of the French language and Francophone culture.
