DELF Junior for Teenagers
The French language study diploma (DELF) for adolescents, “junior / school” version, is an official diploma issued by the Ministry of National Education.
There are 4 diplomas corresponding to the first 4 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2.
The DELF is an official, quality diploma, harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
This diploma is recognized worldwide, and it is valid for life.
Depending on the level passed, the DELF can facilitate access to university in France, in Europe or in a French-speaking country and in certain Grandes Ecoles.
The "junior / school" DELF is intended for teenagers, foreigners or French, who wish to enhance their skills in the French language.
The so-called "junior / school" version implies that only the themes that interest young people are taken up in the exercises. Indeed, the DELF exams assess communication skills. A young learner will be placed in a context that will make him react more easily in the so-called "junior / school" version; he will thus be able to demonstrate all his skills to the evaluators.
The DELF diploma for the “junior/school” version has the same value as a diploma for the “general public” version for adults. The version of the exams is not indicated on the diploma.
The "junior/school" DELF is made up of 4 independent diplomas corresponding to the CEFR levels: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1 and DELF B2.
Students who are not registered with Alliance Française should contact the Institut français in UAE.
